A Reusable Food Pouch for babies, big kids and even grownups

I was pretty pumped when I was writing, Little Green Pouch to review their product.  They are reusable, whats better then that? Little Green Pouch offers a REUSABLE food pouch for babies and kids and even grownups. Their reusable food pouches help save money over the disposable ones, create less waste and help their kids and themselves eat healthier.  They are dishwasher and freezer safe and BPA, PVC & Phthalate Free.

SQUEEZE-ABLEThe size and suppleness of our reusable baby food pouch makes it great for use by those darling little hands

FREEZER-ABLE
If you like to cook homemade baby food in big batches, why not fill up a bunch of our reusable pouches and pop them in the freezer for later use?  You can defrost them in warm water when you are ready to enjoy.  Or, pack them as freezer packs in your lunch in the morning – they’ll be ready for squeezing by the afternoon.

DISHWASHER-ABLE
Our reusable food pouches are dishwasher safe - just prop them upside down over the tongs on the top shelf.  For best use, we recommend rinsing all the homemade spinach surprise out of the pouch and spout before running the cycle.

REUSE-ABLE
Our food pouches are made of durable, BPA-free, PVC-free & phthalate-free plastic.  They are built to withstand those beatings that only young children can give & (after cleaning) take some more.

FILL-ABLE
Zipper sealed at the top so the pouch can be opened & filled with up to 7 Oz of your favorite pureed foods, For the 1st use, remove cap & blow into pouch to expand it to its full, supple shape!

Here's a recipe that went over and  grabbed from Little Green Pouch website.

“The recipe below is one I've played around with during many of my longer running workouts (2+ hours). The sweet potato and banana combo provide carbs without spiking insulin levels, so my energy levels stay steady long term! When I received my "Little Green Pouch," I could not believe how perfect of a container it was to carry my homemade fuel!”
When to introduce: 12+ months (check with your pediatrician)
Stars: Sweet potatoes are rich in Vitamins A & C, calcium, magnesium, & potassium. Bananas contain potassium, fiber, & are high in Vitamin C, B6, & B2. Peanut Butter is a great source of protein, fiber, healthy fats, potassium, Vitamin E, Vitamin B6, & magnesium. Chia seeds are an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acid, high in fiber, iron, & calcium.
Ingredients:
1 medium sweet potato
1 small banana
1 tbsp peanut butter
1 tsp chia seeds (or milled chia for younger kids)
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Drizzle of honey or agave nectar to taste, though I will say this recipe is naturally sweet without it!

Directions:
1. Bake the sweet potato or microwave until soft, allow to cool and peel off the skin
2. Mash the pulp and banana in a bowl then mix in your chia seeds & cinnamon
3. Microwave peanut butter approximately 20-35 seconds until creamy & then
combine into sweet potato mixture
4. Drizzle agave nectar or honey to taste
