The Nutri Ninja blender is the most amazing kitchen appliance you can own. It is a food processor, a blender, and a food chopper all in one. You can make your homemade bread dough, pie crust, and everything from scratch in just one machine. You can also make real fruit smoothies.

The Ninja blender lets you pulse, and pause patterns to deliver consistent even results every time. It can break down ice, seeds, and whole foods in a matter of seconds.

It use to be very time consuming for me to sit and chop up vegetables but I have no worries now as the Ninja does it all for me in just a press of a button, in just a few seconds.

Homemade Pie Crust:

Ingredients:
  • 2½ cups (300 grams) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (226 grams) unsalted butter, cold and cut into cubes
  • ½ cup (118 ml) water, cold

Instructions:

Put the flour, sugar (if using) and salt in a large food processor and pulse a few times to combine. Add the cubed butter and pulse 2-3 times until butter is broken up into pieces.
Slowly begin to add the water and then while still pouring, run the food processor until all the water has been added and mixture begins to come together (mixer will actually begin to make a different sound), but stop before it forms a complete ball. Some crumbs are okay.
Turn dough out onto a clean surface and form into 2 equal disks. Cover in plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours and up to 5 days.

Homemade Pumpkin Pie with real homemade pumpkin puree.

Ingredients:
  • 2 sugar/pie pumpkins

Instructions:
  1. Snap or cut off the stems and cut each pumpkin in half. Be careful when doing these steps! To make it a little safer, slice off the top or bottom of each pumpkin to create a flat and more stable surface to cut the pumpkins).
  2. Scoop out the insides with a spoon or ice cream scoop and save the seeds for roasting.
  3. Place the halves on a parchment-lined cookie sheet and bake at 350º for about an hour or until a fork slides through easily.
  4. Remove from the oven and let them sit to cool. When they have cooled off, flip them over and scoop out the insides with a spoon.
  5. Place the insides into a blender or food processor. Puree until smooth.
