An all natural skin creme. I used the Hot chocolate because Fall is close, hot chocolate sounded good. The smell makes you want to make a cup of Hot Cocoa.
Everywhere I go I keep one in my purse.
The company who makes these skin cremes are amazing, very nice, and put alot of time and effort into these formulas. I recommend you try them. You wont be sorry.

The natural ingredients are grown without chemical or wild harvested.
What you will not find are any artificial or synthetic ingredients, parabens, synthetic preservatives, sulfates, butters made with hydrogenated oils. I simply won’t use them. Did you realize that 70% or more of what you put on your skin you are absorbing and feeding your body? It’s shameful what’s in a lot of skin products, both known & suspected toxins and carcinogens. For the same reason you also won’t find any synthetic fragrances in Alki Organix products. Any scent in Alki Organix is the real thing.
If you smell chocolate, it’s because it really is really cocoa. Keep this in mind if you have any food allergies.
You also won’t find any water in any form, purified or distilled! Water can be as much or more than 80% of that lotion you’ve been buying. It’s cheap for the manufacturer—but it sure comes with a cost, your health. Not because of the water but because of all the preservatives that need to be added even with purified water. Why? Because water creates life, even those life forms we aren’t so fond of. The good news is that water is not necessary for the formulation of an exceptional skin product, in fact it also can even have a drying effect on your skin as it evaporates causing you to need to use more of those lotions with water in them, causing you to be putting even more of those toxins on your skin! Your skin does indeed need water, and it’s best provided from the inside out. I recommend that you drink a lot of it!
Alki Organix labels also lists every single ingredient on the website and on the label proudly. I am committed to using only the most natural healthful ingredients. Organic Sunflower oil, Organic Virgin Coconut oil, Mango Butter, Meadowfoam Seed oil, Organic Beeswax and Organic Witch Hazel are the key ingredients that form the delightful base for Alki Organix balms. Other ingredients, like Avocado Oil, Apple Cider Vinegar or Kukui Nut Oil vary by formula.
Skin needs oil to be healthy. Our skin produces its own natural oil, sebum – it’s critical to our skin’s health because it maintains our skins integrity by lubricating and softening it keeping it from drying out or cracking, it’s also antimicrobial and helps protect our skin from infections. But our skin is out there facing all the harsh elements, plus it’s washed with soaps that strip the natural oils. Or we might also have skin that doesn’t produce as much oil (or too much) for a variety of reasons. Our skin makes oils because it needs oil for its health. When it is dry & rough, it is thirsty for oil!
Many natural plant oils are wonderful to feed the skin the oil its thirsty for, especially oils like Coconut, high oleic Sunflower, or Avocado. These are just a few of the oils that most closely resemble the skin’s own oils. This is the key, using the RIGHT oils! People who use these natural oils at first are often amazed at how readily their skin drinks them in, and how much healthier their skin feels. Stands to reason, when you are hot and thirsty – doesn’t a cold glass of water just hit the spot? Petroleum based oils are quite different in their structure, it’s not food. Our skin doesn’t absorb them like it does these plant oils – our skin is rejecting them! Smart skin! If you think about it, would you want to bake with Petroleum Jelly, or sauté with Mineral Oil would you? I hope not! So, why feed them to your skin? It’s part of your body!
